It's time to recruit your team of ten members and get in training (or maybe no training) for the annual UCP Stuck In Motion stationary bike race.
Teams of ten members will race in place to raise money for programs and services of UCP of Central MN. Each team member will race on a stationary bike for twenty minutes. Each participant is expected to raise a minimum of $100 or a team minimum of $1,000 to be eligible for prizes.
Tee shirts (long sleeve) are provided by Asics and there will be prizes for most miles pedaled by male & female over age 15, and under age 15. A prize drawing will be held after each heat. There will also be prizes for the team with the most pledges and most miles and the team with the most spirit. Lots of prizes and lots of energy and fun.

The 32nd Annual Golf Tournament to support United Cerebral Palsy of Central Minnesota was held under sunny skies on Monday, June 17, 2013. We had a lot of new changes this year with new prizes and a skins game.
Special thanks goes out to Adidas for their donation of golf shirts for all of the golfers as well as TaylorMade for contributions for prizes and golf towels for everyone. With the help of some great sponsors and volunteers, the day provided fun on the course as well as funding for our Assistive Technology programs and services to people with disabilities.
Congratulations to the 2013 First Place team of John Latcham, Brian Schellinger, Kyle Gregory, Ryan Finberg, and Alex Dawalt with a score of 55, seventeen under par.
Second Place Team: Bill, Bruce, John, Gary and Ernie Kociemba with a score of 57, fifteen under par.
Third Place Team: Rick Ihli, Mike Zakrajshek, Dan Brannon, Mike Noll, and Mark Staller with a score of 59, thirteen under par.
The raffle prize of Spirit Airline vouchers was won by Sean Schlosser, and the TaylorMade driver went to Bob Pallansch.

Due to a change in the strategic direction of United Way of Central Minnesota, United Cerebral Palsy of Central Minnesota is no longer a partner in the United Way. United Way has changed their focus areas and the current programs of UCP no longer fit into United Way's priority funding categories. After over forty years as a United Way agency, UCP-CM will have a $49,000 annual loss in funding due to these changes in priorities. We will continue to serve individuals and families affected by the daily challenges of living with a disability in central Minnesota to the best of our ability, but we will need to find other sources of funding to make this possible. Please help us continue to serve these families and individuals and make a difference in their lives. You can donate now on our website, Facebook page or designate your United Way pledge directly to UCP.

UCP of Central MN just completed our 14th annual Stuck In Motion stationary bike race on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Team Tacy cleaned up the competition with their beach party theme winning the Spirit Award, the Highest Pledges of $6,945; and the Most Miles at 82.21. John Inkster, from Team Tacy, won most miles in the male category with 11.86; Hannah Cantor from Team Tacy won most miles in the female category with 8.04, and Keenan Nichols from Team Tacy won most miles for age 15 and under with 7.47.
Taking first place with Most Pledges was Emily Salzbrun with Team Isabelle's Angels at $2,270 and Sue Peck from Team SPOT Rocks with $1,688.
